As Barry Adams reported recently for the Wisconsin State Journal, the Great Dane Pub & Brewing Co. has begun bottling specialty beer, supplementing the brewery’s long tradition of filling growlers with limited-run portable potables. As Adams writes,

The new venture for the Madison-based company will involve its Great Dane Un-Leashed quarterly series of beers being bottled in 22-ounce “bombers” that will be sold at Great Dane locations and at select liquor and grocery stores in the Madison area…. The company plans to feature a different beer each quarter, producing about 2,000 bottles each time.

For all the details, including pricing, the bottling location, and the name and profile of the inaugural bottled beer, check out Adams’ full piece.

Finally, the Dane’s website reports that, besides their pubs, the bombers will be on sale at “the following premier merchants”:

  • Steve’s University Avenue
  • Steve’s McKee Rd
  • Steve’s Junction Rd
  • Star Liquor
  • Cork & Bottle
  • Riley’s
  • Metcalfe’s
